I received my BSc in Molecular Biology and Physiology from the University of Belgrade, Serbia. For my Bachelor’s thesis I focused on the role of molecular chaperons in various oxido-reductive states in bacteria. After my Bachelor’s degree I completed my Master’s degree in neurosciences that culminated with a thesis defense in Berlin. The topic of my research was transcriptional dysregulation in Huntington’s disease. Apart from science I am passionate about nature, hiking and travelling. I have lived in France, travelled to Morocco, Egypt, UK, Spain and the Czech Republic. I'm interested in all sorts of art: literature, photography, music, movies, theatre but most of all folk tales. I find happiness in moments of deep connection with my friends and family, moments of freedom and childlike joy in dancing and nature.
