Project Update October 2019

To set the wheels of the first experiment in motion, my colleagues and I have been busy with setting up our tracking system and populating the barn, as well as planning for validation tests, health assessments, focal selection and the normal daily madness of animal behaviour. Meanwhile, I am auditioning as human sponge by trying to soak up all possible knowledge out there on our tiny-feathered t-rex-memorials. In my daily challenges, I have learned invaluable lessons on how “non-German” Swiss-German is and most importantly on how to zigzag between chickens.
